PowerTable can send email notifications to relevant stakeholders whenever an event or data change occurs.
Select Setup > Automations.
Create a new automation workflow by clicking on Create.
Click Add Trigger or directly select any of the suggested triggers to configure the triggering event.
Let us assume you need to notify your team members whenever a new record is created. In this case, you can select the trigger, 'When a record is created'. A trigger event is added.
You can define additional properties and add conditions to further customize your trigger and make it more specific.
In the image below, we have added a trigger description and a condition for the trigger that specifies a particular category.
Click Add action and then choose Send Email to send an email notification whenever the event occurs.
Enter the action description, the email addresses of the members to be notified, the subject, and the body of the email. Finally, click Save Changes.
The automation workflow is now set up successfully. You can use the pencil icon to name this workflow for easier identification. You can also add more actions to this event such as triggering a webhook or cascading updates.
Use the toggle button beside the required automation to pause or resume it. To remove an automation, pause it and then click the '...' icon and delete it.
